About Me:

The prompt for this part of my profile asks: Tell us a bit about yourself… My impulse answer is, which self are you talking about? I assume the question is geared toward my ego-self or my little self. It must be, because my true Self needs no explanation or description since you, the reader, are intimately familiar with this Self. This same spark that ignites life within me, works just as magnificantly through you. Though our bodies are fashioned specifically for our individual journey, and our minds are filled with thoughts based on our limited  and diverse life experiences, the foundation is the same.
That being said, I suppose I will try and describe the experience we are having as the indviduated consciousness within the being called Erin….that's me! :) Within this one lifetime as Erin, we are currently 25 years old. We have a 16 month old daughter (Ashlyn Nevaeh) who is the Light of Our Life.
For the sake of simplicity I will proceed with the description from the viewpoint of my current singular identity, but please do not lose sight of your role in this life I have constructed. Just because we do not habitually use a pronoun for our collective consciousness during casual conversation, that does not change the reality of our Unity. You are irreversibly a part of me, and I a part of you. And I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
I work as a School Nurse in a rural elementary. This choice of work has been so mind-expanding for me. I no longer see the world in the same way as I did before I began interacting with chidren everyday. I can now see the child in all of us, and this perspective has given me endless compassion for the woundedness of adults. The child remembers who we Are, our Unity. The child wants to make the pain go away, and the adult squashes the child's hopes for peace. As a school nurse, I am honored to learn from these intelligent and thoughtful beings and to put their ideas into practice in my adult life. If only we would do as they do, we would play a lot more, laugh loudly, act in ways that preserve our happiness, and find wonder and beauty in all that surrounds us. Let us see eachother as children do. I give you permission to play, to sing, to find joy. Can you give me the same gift?
I am currently in the process of changing my career, however. Beginning March 1st I will be working as a hospice nurse. I am very excited to have the opportunity to walk the line between physical and nonphysical everyday with my patients, and to help them to navigate their transition. There is no time in our lives that is more pregnant with potential for growth and expansion than the time leading up to our death. As our souls begin to come back to center in order to make the journey home, we begin to realign with who we Are. I feel that working with people who are Remembering will help me to live more fully in the Source every day. We must always attempt to make decisions that will pacify our ego and make our homecoming more swift and sustainable. I pray that this is such a decision for my life.
